Continuing with the reading programme started in Phonics Fun Part 1 book, children will be introduced to more complex words beginning with sound combinations such as ch, sh, wh and th. They will also be introduced to “sight words” which are frequently repeated words that children must know on sight for ease of reading. These include words such as the, is, am, are, into, with etc. The book will also introduce children to four letter words and words ending with letters “x” and “y”. Finally, they will learn to organize their thoughts on any particular topic in order to frame simple sentences.
